Seaton Windsurfing Guide
General info
Seaton can offer very good cross shore wave conditions in an ESE or SE wind direction a couple of hours either side of low tide. Avoid high tides due to a heavy shore dump.
Although cross-shore, westerly winds tend to be too sheltered. Having said that - should the swell arrive to warrant the wave sailing opportunity if there's enough wind to catch a wave then the elements could be in your favour.
Features
Opportunities in wind angle present this location apart from those nearby. Chiefly the down-the-line windsurfing opportunities in an ESE or SE wind. Also keep an eye on the Westerly wind directions that are completely offshore at nearby location Lyme Regis.
Considerations
High tide experiences pretty heavy shore dump.
