Ringstead Gallery

One of the few south coast reef breaks, Ringstead offers a pretty decent wave on an incoming mid tide, as long as there is some ground swell. It can get quite heavy, but is good for some proper wave riding.

Features

The fact that it has a reef and works really well in Westerly winds, and is exposed to swell, makes it a winner when other beaches in dorset are not doing so well in these conditions.

Considerations

It is a reef break, so can be quite tricky to wavesailing newbies.
