Overcombe is to the East of Weymouth, really good in SW, SE and W winds. If there is ground swell the windsurfing is very good, with cross onshore challenging waves. There is a good scene here, and it is one of the best spots in the area in a SE, or even E winds. If it is too onshore here, then drive a mile to the west to town beach.

Features

You can literally park right on the beach, allthough you do need to go and pay a hefty wad of cash to the owner. Overcombe is often very sailable when plenty of places are not.

Considerations

High tide can have a savage shorebreak.

Directions to Overcombe

Drive down a big hill into Weymouth, and instead of following signs for the town centre (why would you?), bear leftish to Overcombe beach. Its pretty easy.
