Cornish lake with a vibrant club scene and team 15 scenec, The water is flat as you would expect from a lake, and could be a welcome break for those frustrated by the relentless pounding they might have just got from the Cornish beaches. Equally you can just pop along for a mellow sail and even to take up the sport.
Features
Stitihians Lake has got an impressive track record for getting wind. Deep down in Cornwall, it is just as likely to get hit by Sou Wester low pressures as anywhere in the UK. There is also an RYA centre there, which makes for a perfect place to get non believers into the religion.
Considerations
Pretty safe, fresh water so way colder than the beach in winter.
