Windsurfing ratings
A good all round beach providing more freeride style conditions than most other options in Pembrokeshire. Generally a great bet for kitesurfing and windsurfing. Even some surfing when the swell is very big at other locations or when a northerly wind is messing up the quality of the surf.
There are 2 beaches, Tenby South and Tenby North. South is the preference partly due to the extra space.
Wave riding is an option here when big storms blow out everywhere else. Caldey, just offshore also offers good wave-riding in Westerly winds. Caldey Island is what the wave rating refers to.
Look out for good freeride conditions in South and South Westerly winds.
Features
A good option for shelter in storms and a great freeride location. Also take notice of the westerly winds when Caldey Island works as a wave riding spot.
Considerations
Fewer than elsewhere on this coast.
