Crossapol Windsurfing Guide

Large sandy bay open to most swell and regular wind directions, setting up for beach break style good fun mushburger waves with a hint of mayo. The windsurfing here is really good fun, and can be great for jumping. This is one of the least powerful waves on the island of Tiree, when it is blown out or too big here, then it is firing somewhere else on the island.

Considerations

Best at low to mid tide, not many hazards apart from the wreck at the end of the bay at low tide.

Directions to Crossapol

Well, the first challenge is actually getting to Tiree itself! Follow the south coast road and go past the football pitches, look for a small offroad, off parking track and there you are, at Crossapol.
