Langland bay is popular surfing location and has a few different breaks (both beach and reef) that are difficult to access for a windsurfer due to their slightly awkward orientation and wind shadows created by the cliffs. Possibly the best opportunities to windsurf are at low to mid tide in a SW but it is more likely to be of a freestyle nature. The reefs do hold possibilities but have never really been had on the right conditions. Given time it is probably worth travelling to an alternate location or going for a surf.
Considerations
Getting stuck downwind over reef near crab island.; Shallow reef areas at low tide.; Localism has been known at this spot.
