slight. Home to West Wales Windsurf and Sailing school, Dale offers the location perfect for an introduction to windsurfing. At low tide a sandy beach offers calm learning conditions sheltered from almost all swell directions. Despite this, on occassion wind swell can provide an introductory step in to the world of wave-sailing in south easterly winds.
The beauty here is in free-riding and planing in flat water conditions. Great if you are surfed out and want some calm leisurely water time.
Winds will tend to be gusty but look out for north-westerlies which provide the cleanest flat water conditions.
