The tide at Fraserburgh dictactes the quality of wave that you will get, the bay itself is stunning and well worth the visit. You can actually windsurf here in many different wind directions, as long as they er, have a bit of North in. Pack your thick wetsuit. It will be worth it for the crystal blue water.

Features

Low to incoming tide with a Westerly wind and after a few days swell from the North West produce some magical medium sized waves and excellent wavesailing conditions.

Considerations

There can be strong currents and a very long wallk to the water.

Directions to Fraserburgh

From Aberdeen take the A90 and from Inverness the A96. If you are driving from the south coast then pack a lot of sandwiches and plenty of copies of readers digest.
