Bridlington Windsurfing Guide
General info
Windsurfing ratings

Popular Northern coastal spot offering some good waves and bump and jump sailing in the right condition. Bridlington is a typical UK seaside town, busy in the summer with tourists and a decent windsurfing spot. As the tide pushes in the waves can jack up to give stunt ramps a plenty and some good jumping. High tides challenges those with a good bit of shorebreak, up to the wall in many places.
If you are living in Yorkshire then this is one of the most accessible and popular windsurfing locations.
Features
Easy to get too, excellent low to mid tide windsurfing and fairly social. The UKWA makes it's way up here once a year.
Considerations
High tide should be avoided, and be careful of the breakwaters.
Directions to Bridlington
Find the A1, take your brain out and drive for a ridiculous amount of time until you get towards Rotherham. Then follow the bigsalty map. Once you get to the town the seafront is well signposted. Look out for the sailing club.
