Walton-on-the-naze Windsurfing Guide
General info
Windsurfing ratings
mushy East coast beach break, more chop than waves. Good fun in general, with the odd surprising days. Walton probably gets better waves than nearby Clacton. Can only be sailed at low or mid tide because the sea wall is in the way.
Features
Right under the lifeboat station. Also if you sail round the Naze there is a secret sand bar that can provide some really good conditions, it is a mission to get too and you have to be safety concious.
Considerations
Groynes, high tide breaks agains the sea wall so should be avoided. Lost essex girls.
