East Runton is a very good venue for waves. It is best windsurfed with a tide on the push a couple of hours before high. At high tide, the wind can get gusty from the cliffs. In cross shore NW winds, the down-the-line conditions can be superb. Parking is by the cliff with access via a concrete slipway to the beach.

Considerations

During strong winds and big swell, watch the current along the bay which can be strong.
