Amble is a short sandy beach situated beneath dunes at the base of a holiday park. Just offshore is Coquet Island which serves as quite a picturesque back drop for a day on the water. The beach is a mix of sand and reef at the northern end. It is quite a popular location and can hold some good conditions.
Features
If the swell is massive everywhere and you are looking for somewhere with some sanity left, you could try here for more shelter since there is an outer reef past the Island that mops up the bigger swells.
Considerations
On bigger days, there may be quite a current leading you south between the gap of Coquet Island.
